Attn: Fall Senior Activity Celebration/Recognition Night date changes. Cross Country, Girls Tennis, Girls Golf, Boys Soccer, Volleyball, and Debate will be as originally scheduled for Sept 1st. Football, Band, Cheer, and Dance will be Sept 15th. Both dates will start at 6:30pm.

Open House, Food Trucks, and New Parent Orientation      Shawnee Heights High School will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, August 9th from 6:00-7:15pm.  We will have food trucks on site from 5:30 – 7:15pm for those wanting dinner as part of the evening activities. Cafeteria seating will be open.      Open House is an opportunity for you to visit with your child’s teachers and share knowledge of your child’s strengths, interests and needs.  The evening is informal, and you are free to come and go as your schedule permits.  To save resources, please bring a copy of your child’s schedule with you to the open house. Finally, our school nurse will be available to receive student medications, and our bookkeeper will be on site to collect enrollment fees and distribute activity passes.           Parents new to Shawnee Heights High School are invited to a new parent orientation meeting from 7:15-8:00 pm just following the open house in the high school auditorium.  Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the administrator team and learn ways to stay informed about school life and/or get involved in school activities.            We look forward to seeing you on August 9th!

Congratulations to Brock Broadbent and Izah Klumpp for receiving the 2023 Senior Artist Award. Both received $400 in scholarship money. Donations and sales to the SHHS Art Club make the Senior Artist Award possible.
